ok i have received my seeds and have a few growing in the yard, but im a little concerned about there appearance and want to find out whats the best all around fertilizer to use i have looked into it and still not certain of which kind is really the best for zone 9 (are does it matter).............thanks

There can be many different kinds of soil in a particular climatic zone. I've never grown palms, but in general the best way to determine what nutrients your particular soil needs is to have the soil tested. You can either buy an inexpensive test kit or take a soil sample and send it to a lab for testing (usually more expensive).
What particular symptoms are you noticing in your plants? Different nutrient deficiencies result in different symptoms.
