Hello,
I am a gardener from Romania, Eastern Europe and want to propose you a trade: I can send you a big quantity of MOSO seeds(phyllostachys pubescens) , a giant timber bamboo, hardy cold resistant (-23celsius ).
The seeds are fresh and the germination is about 30%.
I have sent and traded seeds with many people from all around the world.
If you have other species of hardy cold bamboo , and would like to trade some rhizomes with roots , for my MOSO seeds, please write me back.If you have got rhyzomes or plants(sedlings) from the following species , and you want to trade some for my seeds , please let me know!
Phyllostachys vivax(and the Vivax. aureocaulis)
Phyllostachys nigra henonis
Phyllostachys rubromarginata
Phyllostachys nuda
Phyllostachys bissetii
Phyllostachys propinqua
Phyllostachys atrovaginata(congesta)
Arundinaria gigantea(river cane)
Thank you,

Best regards,
Prof .Puiu Grosu Puiugrosu@yahoo.com or puiugrosu1958@yahoo.fr

That is an intriguing idea!! I live in NW Ohio (Zone 6) and would like to try some cold hardy bamboo in the yard. Any suggestions/advise on where I might can get some plants to try here in Ohio? I am waiting now on some needle palms and am going to try my luck with those. I want to make my home look like a "tropical oasis" here in Paulding. Any thing anyone can send me would be much appreciated. Thanks!!! Bob

Am interested in banana trees, cold hardy palms, trop. plants/trees I can raise inside during winter
