Hi. I am Diane. I live on the island of St. John, USVI. I find myself at the computer most days and would find locating information here easier than visiting with landscapers and growers on the island. Work, work, work! I own a small piece of land that I will be working with in a variety of capacities so if there's anyone who actually knows how things do outdoors in the tropics or anyone who thinks they can help me, please write. I think I might figure out the private message system if you want to email me but I'll check these postings often. 1. I want to know what would flower in the shade to plant along the path to my house. It is now what we call 'bush' meaning no domestic plants just what grows wild. I know begonias grow here and ferns will grow in the shade but I was hoping for blooms and variety. Any ideas? Thanks.
