NO COMMERICAL ADVERTISING!
Do not join this forum to promote your own plant and seed site; start your own forum. We don't mind customers letting other customers know where they can find something The Banana Tree doesn't carry. We watch the forums closely and will delete any account abusing this rule.

Linking or giving information about any site that distributes illegal software, ROMs, media, or emulators, seeking help to circumvent any copyright laws, admitting to possessing and/or distributing illegal copyrighted material, or encouraging software or media piracy is grounds for an immediate ban.

• Copyrighted Material

Do not post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright, trademark or other proprietary right.

• Personal Attacks, Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling

Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated. Treat others on these message boards as you would expect them to treat you. Talking trash about another user is a quick way to earn a banning, as is posting topics specifically to provoke a negative response from someone (aka trolling).

• Profanity

Keep profanity to a minimum. If you say the occassional swear word we aren't going to ban you but don't be surprised if your post of 95% swear words is deleted. A simple rule to follow is: "when in doubt, leae it out." You don't have to use excessive profanity to get your point across, and it's usually better to avoid it altogether.

• Pornographic or Other Inapropriate Sites

Don't do it.

• Off-Topic Posts

Okay, so you probably won't get banned for an off-topic post, but c'mon, try to post suitable subjects on each of the appropriate boards. We even have an Off-Topic forum for those non related posts that you must share. Off-topic posts will most likely be deleted, and further action may be taken against repeat offenders.

• Advertising and Trading

Do not use these forums for advertising.

• Spam

Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages is highly frowned upon! This includes posting a topic in multiple forums.

• Bumping "Dead" Threads

Bumping threads which are exceptionally old is frowned upon, and may result in a ban. Once a thread has become "dead", leave it alone. If you must reference it, create a link to it in a new post. If you do insist on bumping "dead" threads, there is a high likelihood that you will receive a short ban.

• Impersonating Other Users / Accessing Another User's Account

You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. Also, accessing or using someone else's account or attempting to access another poster's account is strictly prohibited.

• Circumventing a Ban

It is not acceptable to return to the boards while banned. Such action is grounds for an immediate perma-ban.

• Post in Correct Forum

Please create posts in the forum best suited for them.

• Posting Anonymously

Users must register, and be logged in, if they wish to post. Most forums will not allow users to post anonymously, however there may be a few exceptions. Any exceptions are considered bugs, and any users using the option to post while anonymous will be treated as exploting bugs within the site coding. Moderator posts have been stickied on all forums where we are aware of the bug existing warning users that their posts will be locked when noticed.

'All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.' - - - T. E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia)
