Can anyone tell me what to do if the leaves split or tear im new to this my plant is about 5 ft tall

Move them out of the wind. If you are like me, and don't mind them not getting real big, grow them inside.
They tear and split because of the wind ripping them. Actually what I do is planted two in the landscape (knowing they will get BIG, but tear the leaves), then grow three inside with beautiful, but smaller leaves. |
