I'm wondering if I over did the fertilizing part on my banana this summer, I know too much water is bad. I grew some Dwarf Cavendish and I think they got burned with my generic fertilizer and my other banana which are japanese fiber banana weren't affected by the amount I used? I'm wondering should I be using different mixtures for different types of banana or just use different quanities? Thank for any help guys!

I think your most likely doing something else wrong since it's pretty hard to overfertilize, don't get me wrong you can do it but you would have to be using a ton of the stuff to fry the plants. It's probably a case of you overwatering the plants or the soil didn't have good enough drainage. Good draining soil is key, banana likes lots of water but it needs the air to or else it starts rotting. Hope this helps?

Yeah, soil drainage is key, even if you try to nuke your plants by overfertilizing you'll by spared most times from dead plants since the salts etc from the "Miracle go" will wash away much easier with the good drainage. If you do go overboard with the super juice just flush it out by watering more often a few times that day to blast out the salts from the soil. And if you still insist on using to much of that miracle elixir come over to my house and fertlize my yard all you want ahahhaa
