Tropical Bananas

Okay then. But... Do not just kill them. wait for some more suckers to grow. If you killed all of them, you might think your banana will not send out more suckers anymore. Send me a picture of you whole plant.
Thanks

I think the banana plant needed some more space. Try planting it on the ground.
The suckers are doing great! Anything happening?

Nothing much happening the tree is still growing pretty fast. I think it's time to eliminate some of the suckers though as they are not worth keeping since they are look to be water suckers correct? I will plant it in the ground next year and see how it goes.

the pics that you posted of your banana looks just like my own. well for the exception your is bigger then mine. im new to this forum. i posted a note and i guess because im new here, no answer. i thought mine was a musella lasiocarpa. however, after seeing your pics, i believe mines not what i thought it was. the questions i posted are on the general discussion under (how do?) i would appriciate any info you could tell me. i would also like to know the type of tree in your pics. "fred" does not look to bad.i have him growing in the house. we live in tennessee and the weather here is weird. i can grow just about anything but a fern, however this is the first with a banana tree. i had a new leaf open about 5-6 days ago and it is beautiful. my little tree is only half foot tall and the new leaf that opened is bigger then the whole tree. i was amazed. ive been feeding him shredded cabbage(on top of the dirt) and making sure that he stays watered. is there anything else beside the humidity, sunlight, and any other "green food" that i can give him? oh by the way....is it normal for drops of water to come off the tips of the leaves? ive read some of the info you have given other people and i believe if i asked a direct question i might actually get an answer. thank you for your help.
