Has anyone ever kept the Taro plants over the winter outside in zones 5-6? i saw a picture online of a guys yard in canada with them growing huge along side banana trees and not sure if that meant he was able to over winter them in the ground.

i would think would good soil and a little greehouse type structure it could be done?

They grow like mad here in Louisiana. They are very invasive. I would imagine they might be able to survive in that zone just based on their tenacity - they also love to be in and near water.
