It can get in the 20's some times. My plants are wilted from a 30 degree frost. Should I cut them off at a pine straw bail height and cover for the remainder of the winter? I also have alot of plants growing next to the origonal plant ( suckers). Should I transplant now or in spring? It is is a root plant correct? I also have a Elephant ear plant that has the same frost problem. I believe this is a bulb? Do I also cut off and cover? The southern plant are all new to me and I really need sugestions. Thank you
