everything is going well so far...some went well and others did not. Time will tell. I have a couple thousand amaryllis seedlings ..so i guess that went well ...good with the bop too. Not so good with some of the rarer nanas. You win some and lose some. * shrugs*

yes that is true..but it really hurts when the ones you lose are the rare ones. i lost my first nana to overwatering. when you know nothing, nothing good happens. if he grows back ill be happy if he dosent it was a learning experience. i have 22 more that i take care of now. and im expecting to get a few more. that dosent include the monstera, hi- bred cannas 3 palms and the regular house plants.grapefruit, tangerine, ponderosa lemons, and many many more. my den is almost packed to capicity, till spring. have to plant everything outside. well except my saba and my orinico and one bronz ornata and one lavander ornata and the monstera. im even contemplating putting my bop outside with winter protection to see how it will do. hey i successfully rooted a pineapple! i started 2 and ended up with 1. so 50-50 chance wasnt too bad. now i know how to do it, next fall will start 500 more and will end up with 250. lol!

the citrus are still little. the ponderosa lemons just started coming up and they have been potted up for 12 wks. now. it didnt help i dried the seeds to send some to new homes. the tangerines and the ruby reds, and lemons came out of a gh so they wont be going outside for a long time. i hate the evil beasties. makes me want to go out and kill, kill, kill. lol. oh i have a croton also. my daughter bought one it is the 4 color one. i love them they are funky. i love odd looking plants. have you ever seen blue sea holly? i have a clump in my yard and people look at it very oddly. wait till i start planting nanas outside. this will be the only house in white co. with tropicals trees growing in the yard. i love to plant things just to see the elderly people drive by real slow on sunday mornings and i smile. my mom and i have started a yard beautification thing in our co. she plants something, i plant something. her neighbor plants something. it is a never ending cycle. i do it cause i enjoy smelling the dirt. and i want my yard to look better then my moms. rotflmao. . did you start another avacado tree for her? im sorry to hear you lost a tree. it was the beasties? does your wife garden?

Yes I have seen a blue sea holly. They are pretty nice.
I have not planted another avacado yet. I honestly don't want any fruit trees in the gh because of all the funk that they seem to attract.
My wife gardens somewhat ...YES. When we first met she couldn't keep anything alive. But she is doing really well now.

I do pretty well with ferns so far. I have about 30 staghorns doing pretty well in the greenhouse. My most prized fern is my Austrailian tree fern. It is about 5.5 ft tall and doing fairly well. I ordered a brazilian tree fern for this show. I'm sure we will stick it somewhere in the gardenshow garden this year.
