Hi,
I have 2 ice cream banana tress that were both planted 3 ft apart 1 year ago in Tampa. FL. They were both doing great all year. We had a freeze for one day in January. Most of all the leaves died off. Now the one plant is doing great and has 3 bablies. The other plant is barely growing and the leaves on it and her 2 babies are very lightly colored, whitish, and weak. They shear off in the wind. Any ideas on how to help this plant? I have used a standard shrub fertalizer.
Thanks, Jimmy.

Add Mycorrhizal fungi, this fungi helps the roots of your banana tree colonize and span out. It also provides the plant with nutrients and moisture helping it survive under conditions of stress. Your Palm will do just fine.
