My first post!

I bought a packet of banana seeds from Canadian Tire. I guess that gives away my nationality eh? **grin*** I started the five seeds on Mar 28th and the germination, the packet says, is 1-6 months. Yesterday the first tiny shoot is coming out of the soil. I am so excited. I grew one a few years back as well but killed it when it was about 3 feet tall. I think it drowned with my overly tender loving care. With this helpful forum I hope to do a better job this time around. I'm glad I found you all

Since my last post ---last Saturday---my little baby banana shoot has grown over 5 inches!!! If I sit quiet enough I almost think I can see it grow LOL
