Hi guys,

Are there any identifying marks or traits for the Musa Basjoo in order for me to ID one I just bought. The guy i bought it from said he got it from Home Depot and i'm not even sure if they carry the Musa Basjoo. Thanks in advance.

Scott

I don't think Home Depot sells them either.

Wal-Mart sells them, so Home Depot may also. They are actualy plantain trees not bananas. The variety is tall with long, curved fruits up to 2' long and weighing 2 pounds each! Grows up to18' and will have maroon coloring in the pseudostem.
