hi,

i have exactly the same problem.

i have two musa basjoos and 2 ensette maurellii. i repotted them last week and gave them some potash to boost the potassium content in the pot. both ensettes and one basjoo are doing great. i have to move them around a lot to keep them in the sun in my small yard (in the uk), but one of the basjoos is getting very brown around tne edges of the leaves, which are wilting. to make things worse, this one had a tiny pup which has lost it's leaves. :-(

the soil has stayed moist since i re-potted, as it's been a bit rainy.

should i re-pot the poorly basjoo, it may have been overpotted? or is it too much potash?

I just believe I would re pot your banana plant sounds like the same problem I am having with mine. My leaves are so brown and wilting that I am very worried that I might lose it. Thank You for your post and Good luck with all your plants
