I just bought 2 bananas and 2 coffee plants from The Banana Tree. The day after I got it, I see part of the leaf bitten off and some dead (bottom leaves) from the coffee plans on the floor. Interesting. Come to find out, my one dog likes to eat it for some reason. I try to keep my door closed, but that does not always work. He can open doors that are closed over. Is there any thing that I can spray on it that will prevent the dog from thinking he is a cow and eating my tropical plants??? Oh he also likes to eat the leaves of the Citris Mitis tree that I have, which is outside now.

I've never heard of anything to dog proof a plant as far as spraying it goes.

I guess the best thing to do is to put it up high somewhere. Or outside surrounded by other things that he can't get through or around. I would think after a while he'd forget about it.

Or smack him.
