Looked thru the forum and found no thread about this subject. I am in Baja Sur MEX, zone 11. Have had Birds of Paradise in the ground for 6 years, has sprouted a pup, but no flowers. It was in semi shade in with bananas. Some one suggested full sun so I moved them this week. But,my neighbor has his in full sun, same amount of time, and also no flowers. We have well drained decomposed granite soil. Plants are healthy, dk green foliage, fed with 10/10/10 and probably got some palm food from nearby cocos. Any suggestions as to soil adjustment would be greatly appreciated.

I'm presuming you mean the little ones and not the big ones. Sometimes they can take a few years to bloom, it just depends on how old the plant is.
