Hi Cindy. Here's a link to a great banana forum and a great tutorial on how to move pups around. http://www.bananas.org/f2/time-separate-pups-spring-1814-5.html. Enjoy!
After further review......I found Daves Garden, in their feedback section, and it looks like this company has a history of poor service and poor products/shipping. I sent an email cancelling my order, and I'll try going bananas instead. I should have used them first, especially since they're local.
I did order my plants from this site. Hopefully it'll turn out alright. If not, I'll try the one you recommend. I called every local nursery in my phone book, and only one had a couple of different bananas growing on his property. I didn't like the condition of his plants, so I passed and will have to go the internet route. You're the second person who's mentioned going-bananas.com, so I might just get a couple of the same plants from them for comparison sake. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks damethod. UF extension info is always appreciated.
Just ordered my first 2 banana trees. I live in south Florida, and am looking forward to learning how to grow these puppies.
