Nothing much happening the tree is still growing pretty fast. I think it's time to eliminate some of the suckers though as they are not worth keeping since they are look to be water suckers correct? I will plant it in the ground next year and see how it goes.
Here are a few more pics of the plant. The suckers have trippled in size already

No dwarf, it's a regular Apple Banana. So I should just dig them out and kill these also?
Perhaps your plant has been getting too much sun? The stalk/stem looks pretty young yet for 2 months. Did you use any fertilizers, maybe too much? I don't have a definite answer just throwing out some things I have encountered. As far as spider mites go you should be able to get a can of insect killing spay (Safer brand) at your local greenhouse etc..2-3 applications 3-5 days apart should do. Keeping the plant leaves moist usually keeps them at bay, which is hard when growing indoors : (
So would you say that these last four are sword suckers??
Here are two pics of the four remaining suckers

Well I chopped off 3 of the wider leafed suckers today, leaving hopefully what are 3 sword suckers to grow a bit longer before transplanting. I still can't really tell any difference between a water sucker and a sword type. I have scoured the net for info and this is one of the few places that even mention anything about not using the water suckers for propagation. I'll post another picture of the last three remaining and hopefully you could tell me which ones to keep etc..
Alright I was about to slice of my water suckers today but, after further examining it seems like all the leaves are spear shaped. Most of the suckers are just getting their 4th or 5th leaf. Now I am afraid I will hack the wrong ones off etc. I need to put this one in a bigger pot soon also. Here is a larger pic with better detail. Can you determine what I should cut off and which I should leave. Thank you for your time and attention.

Thanks for the info, should I be removing the unwanted suckers now while there still small? Or should I wait until they are a transplantable size? How do you tell the difference between a sword and water sucker? Thanks for your help!
I have had a Blue Java and Apple Banana plant growing 3 months strong. The Apple Banana has 4 suckers about 4" tall while the Blue Java has none at all. Is this normal? I know I need to wait until the suckers are a foot or more before I can separate it from the mother plant but am I supposed to only keep a certain one(s) Thanks for your time and attention.
