Getting to know other members ... » Growing Bananas Aug 13, 2007 08:41 PM (Total replies: 1)

Hello:

I live in a climate where it occasionally goes down to 20', but summer is often over 90 (outside Sacramento, CA).

Can I grow any bananas outside and hope for fruit? There was an article in a doctor's office last week that hinted it was possible, but the article was 5 years old. I do have citrus outside in the ground, and we protect it during a hard frost.

Holly
