I dont know the particulatr type of plant i have but it is a type of regular sweet bananas there minture size and sweet when ripe the plant stands at 12 feet or so when fully grown. I have had a few years of sucsess full growth in the same location I am in sw fl . and this year the off shoot plants get to 3 or four feet and then the leaves start ot die off first the egeds shreed and turn brwn then slowlty as it grows and new leavs form the die of the stalk seem fine but as it reches taller hieghts i do see some brown spots in the trunks and then a;; the leaves die and of couse the tree dies new trees do contine to sprout up and again are fine for the first few months . any idea if this is a bug or desease ? I think they recive pleanty of water and once a month or so i put a cup or 2 of fertlizer on the bases . the cluster is 3 or 4 trees

Thanks for the help
