Getting to know other members ... » Ice Cream Bananas in Virginia Feb 23, 2008 05:50 PM (Total replies: 0)

Hey, folks!

I'm starting a Bananarie in my back yard, and I was wondering if anyone had any pointers for growing Ice Cream Bananas. The plants will be grown in a heated greenhouse with the standard perlite soil mix and plenty of water.

Does anyone have experience with this particular cultivar? I understand they're usually less than 15 feet tall at maturity, but I'm trying to get a better feel for space requirements for the greenhouse, as well as any particularly special pointers...

Thanks!

- Jake L.
