Thank you Skipstone,
First they are in the ground they stay out all winter. So can I go on and part them or wait. ?and if and when how do I do it? First banana trees. Yes I cover them up in the winter time But I keep getting more and more babies and I like to plant them else where and give some to my friends. Thanks justmarty

P.S. Yes I love the trace this time of the year trailriding and camping :)
