Thank you Skipstone, First they are in the ground they stay out all winter. So can I go on and part them or wait. ?and if and when how do I do it? First banana trees. Yes I cover them up in the winter time But I keep getting more and more babies and I like to plant them else where and give some to my friends. Thanks justmarty

I live in middle Tennessee and have a banana tree. It stays out all year. I just much it and let it be. Now it has so many babies bigger then the mother. Now what do I do?

I have a banana tree that has had babies. how and when do I transplant them I live in midwestern Tennessee. All 5 have grown 8 feet or taller and they are all together. so can any one hellp me ? Justmarty
