I adopted a banana tree plant today, which stands about 4-5 feet tall. i am not really a green thumb and i pride myself on keeping my peace lily and bamboo alive. i don't know how to care for plants, really, but this one needed a home. right now, the leaves are heavy so the plant hangs down from the stalk. i have no idea what to do with it. i tried tying it at the stalk to help bring the leaves together and help the 'limbs' grow up instead of out. i don't know how often to water it, what it should look like, or anything at all. can someone help me?? -lisa
