Peggy Can you post pictures of the Diamond Tropical Jungle, What are some of the plants that's in your. I Do not have any Palm trees what is a tropical garden with out Palm trees. About 6 to 8 weeks ago I started some Washington Fan Palm from seed. I could not believe when I saw them start to spout. I know, it will take some time before they will get some size . This is some of the plants that's in my garden this year. Brugmamisa, Plumeria, Cannas, Elephant ears, Castor Beans, Caladiums, 2 kinds of sweet potatoe vines, ferns (1 not sure of the kind). I'm planding to add more each year. The flower seeds that I will be starting for next year Plumeria, Red castor beans, Ylang Ylang, Flamingo flower, White Texas Star hibiscus Gale
Hi Bob, Yes I use container when I plant. In the winter I put the plants in my basement and keep dark and cool so that they will go dormant. Last year was my first time, some of my plants did very well, and some did not. oh I also gave then a little water once a month. Any help that you can give will be helpful. Gale
In Philly from time to time it can get very cold, in Jan and Feb. I over winter the tropicals I have in a cool basement. Gale

Hi All I'm new to Banana Tree, I live in zone 6. My gold is to learn all I can about growing tropical plants. Hope one day to make my yard look like a tropical garden.
