we had a heavy frost the last 2 nights and my leaves are turning black . should i dig them up and if so how should i wrap then . i live in zone 7-8 thanks for any info

Thanks BOB Ihad heard from someone one time that i was suppose to dig them up or wrap the stalk with insulation . it dosent get that cold here normaly it is very rare for our temp to get down to much below freezing . when it does it does not stay that way long. this is my first winter with them . Ihave had a lot of fun working with them and would sure hate to loose them. THANKS RONNIE

I LIVE IN SOUTH CAROLINA AND HAVE A FEW BANANA PLANTS A COUPLE OF THEM HAVE PUPS RIGHT NOW THE OUTSIDE TEMP IS 100 IS IT TO HOT TO SEPERATE OR SHOULD I WAIT AWHILE THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP IM NEW AT THIS
Can anyone tell me what to do if the leaves split or tear im new to this my plant is about 5 ft tall
