Hey Daniel,
I posted a reply in my thread that you replied to. I would love that banana if you still have it!

Thanks,
TaylorWasConfused!

Hi Daniel,
I would love to have your banana tree. I have learned a lot over the 2 years since I made that first post. If you still have it, please contact me via PM or something...or I will PM you, either way. I now know that I can take care of bananas since I have over 10 varieties (all new to this year or last...) and even got a few blooms.

Thanks,
TaylorWasConfused

I need help.
I love Banana trees and other Tropical Plants. But in Virginia, it can be tough to grow one. In a typical store-bought Banana, where are the seeds? Are they the microscopic black specks? I was going to experiment, so I have stored them in a plastic bag. How should i try to germinate them in the heat? Will they even grow? Expert Advice is wanted.

This sounds stupid, but in a typical store-bought Banana, What are the seeds? and will they grow? If so, what steps should be taken to make the Banana seed germinate? And lastly, it is summertime in Virginia, US now, but what precautions should be taken for winter care?
Thanks for your help. I would like to learn about Bananas.
