this was the problem i was having with my banana plant. It ended up dying. I read somewhere that a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% water soution will kill off the fungus. Best of luck, will your banana tree live long and prosper!

welcome to the forum, and just don't ask banananana n00b questions as we will flame you. Make sure you don't cut too high on the banana stem as it will grow less next bloom. You should ask your local nursery and they can help with your banana problems.

oh btw i forgot to say that the bananas need to be rip and yellow, instead of green and not ripe

BUMP, even though it is at the top of the thread lists

Bump

Please respond as this is a mission critical problem and needs to be solved ASAP.
BTW if it could be in psd format, I would be very grateful. The theme is what a banana tree looks like when you are high, and i was going to do a hue shift with a color gradiant. If you have any high banana trees, that would work as well.

Hi-

I am a banana tree n00b. I need some pictures of a banana tree for some photoshop work. I attempted to locate one on the amazing thing called "internet", but to no avail. I then proceeded to try and grow a banana tree to photograph. Basically, I did a horrible job of taking care of it, and it died. If someone here has a banana tree that is in good condition, I would ask if they could photograph it. It needs to show the banana cluster on the tree, and must show the tree trunk. Please don't flame me because I am new here. After I learn more about banana trees, I would like to become a moderator for the banana tree forums. I can e-mail you a resume if you would like.
