Slender stemmed column cactus to 6 from Argentina. Covered with sharp spines. Produces long thin tubular flowers which are bright red - sometimes orange. Fast growing. Broadcast the seeds onto the surface of well draining soil mix and keep only lightly moist. Provide filtered sunlight. Gradually move to brighter light.
