The unripe fruits are the source of the culinary spice and a distilled oil used in medicine and in industry for flavoring which is recognized as Star Anise. |
Germination for: ILLICIUM verum "Chinese Star Anise"
Requires constant warmth, bright light and hi humidity. Plant at 1/2 depth using well draining soil mixture. Keep oly lightl moist - not wet.
