A fast growing slender climbing vine that may exceed 20' found climbing over shrubs, into trees, on hillsides and arroyos. Produces an exceptional large 2" to 4" wide bright, golden - yellow cup shaped flower. It opens at 9 AM and closes at 4 PM. "A happy, hard to resist flower". The fleshy roots are edible. |
Germination for: MERREMIA aurea "Yellow Morning Glory"
Using soil mixture, plant a 3/4" depth. Keep warm, lightly moist and in very bright light.
