	We are offering seeds of an Ensete that we have been growing in Ecuador since 1982. In every way it has all of the appearances of the Ensete ventricosum yet the seed is entirely different being larger - up to 1" in width, sometimes rather flattened and noticeably convoluted. It is not the same appearance of the smaller Ensete venticosum which is more rounded. The seed had originally come from Mexico in 1980. We had sold it for several years under the name of Musa ensete - which is not a valid name.	Germination for: ENSETE sp. unknown var. Plant at 1" depth in well draining soil mixture.
