	Bay trees can be wonderfully ornamental and may be trained to give a the desired appearance. In warmer zones it can reach 40' yet it may be pruned and kept quite small and is able to grow indoors where you really can pluck the aromatic leaves. The leaves are used in cooking, perfumery and in medicine. Fresh seeds are available most of the year.
