| This Annona is the most widely grown of the species and the fruit is extremely popular to those that live in the regions where it can be grown. The trees may reach 20'. The fruits are 3" wide, heart shaped and covered with outter skin that appears to be an overlapping of scale (carpels). The The pulp is custard-like, sweet and contains several seeds. |
Germination for: ANNONA squamosa "Sugar Apple"
Plant at 1" depth using well draining soil mixture. Keep damp, warm, and in bright light with high humidity. Fertilize monthly.
