Native to Australia where it is a popular street tree which becomes enhanced with bright orange seed pods. A fast growing shade tree to 30' with compound, alternate leaves. Flowers are greenish / yellow to red with a furry center and 5 petals arranged in panicles emerging from the leaf axils. The fruits are yellow to orange/red. For warm zones 9b - 10, or greenhouse.
