| Deciduous tree to 30' known for its 4" yellow/brown fruits which look like short stubby bananas. Leaves are simple, alternate to 12". Hardy to zone 5. Grown in nearly every state with varying differences in taste. We ship moist seeds. THE SEEDS SHOULD BE STRATIFIED BEFORE PLANTING. STRATIFICATION SUGGESTED IS 41 DEGREES FOR 30 - 60 DAYS WITH MOIST MEDIUM. *** |

AFTER STRATIFYING, plant at 1" depth in loamy soil with some sand added to help drainage. Keep damp. Bright light.
