| This long lived perennial vine flowers continuously in the tropics where it is an important legume. It may be grown as a flowering vine indoors with warm greenhouse conditions. It is known for its beautiful 2-1/2" purple/white pea-like flowers and its bright purple pods. A vigourous grower in warm regions and will reach 10' to 30' and require a trellis. |
Germination for: DOLICHOS lablab "MOON SHADOW Hyacinth bean"
Very easily grown. Plant at a depth of 1" in well draining soil mix. Keep warm, damp and in bright light.
