| This tropical fruit tree may reach 80' and is known for its tart pulp used in chutney and numerous other dishes. Very attractive tree, especially when young and makes a terrific indoor tree that may easily be kept pruned to a desirable size. Its numerous branches are laden with feathery pinnate leaves . |
Germination for: TAMARINDUS indica "Tamarind"
Plant at 1" depth using well draining soil mixture. Keep warm, damp and in bright light. Fertilize monthly.
