| The flower head reaches 4"-5" across red with pink center and small hairy flowers. Branches are covered with thin "needle-like" leaves. |
Germination for: PROTEA aristata "Ladismith"
Cover at 1/4" depth with a mixture of well rotted compost ( sifted ) and coarse sand. Keep damp - not wet. Requires fresh air and bright light. - increase to full sun gradually after germination. Ideal pH 5.0 - 5.5. Avoid high humidity.
