| Outstanding flowers are up to 12" across with dark pink bracts. Only 5' tall - the leaves are 5" leathery. |
Germination for: PROTEA cynaroides "King protea"
Cover at 1/4" depth with a mixture of well rotted compost( sifted ), and coarse sand. Keep damp - not wet. Requires fresh air and brightlight - increase to full sun gradually after germination. Ideal pH 5.0 - 5.5. Avoid high humidity.
