| Heavy black fur on the bract tips with bracts pale green, tan, and cream. The bracts are 5" tall, 2 1/2 " across. Height 5'. |
Germination for: PROTEA lepidocarpodendron "Black Bearded Protea"
Cover at 1/4" depth with a mixture of well rotted compost ( sifted ), and coarse sand. Keep damp - not wet. Requires fresh air and bright light light - increase to full sun gradually after germonation. Ideal pH 5.0 - 5.5. Avoid high humidity.
