| Exquisite flower - 8" across with colors range soft pink, deep rose, strong red - the apex tinged black with small downy white flowers. May take to 4 years to flower. |
Germination for: PROTEA magnifica "Giant Woolly Beard"
Cover at 1/4" depth with well-rotted compost ( sifted ), and coarse sand. Keep damp - not wet. Requires fresh air and bright light -- increase to full sun gradually after germantion. Ideal pH 5.0 - 5.5. Avoid high humidity.
