Description:
Growing Instructions & Tips:
  Beautiful flower bracts - narrow 5" tall x 3" wide - and very satiny with hues deep pink to salmon tipped in black fur. Cold tolerant to 15F. Prefers acid soil but may be grown in lime-clay soil. Germination for: PROTEA nerifolia "Oleander Leaved Protea" Cover at 1/4" depth with well-rotted compost ( sifted ), and coarse sand. Keep damp - not wet. Requires fresh air and bright light -- increase to full sun gradually after germantion. Ideal pH 5.0 - 5.5. Avoid high humidity.
