| Banana type leathery leaves to 6'. This short variety produces colorful upright "lobster - claw" bracts usually bright red with some yellow and green. Provide warmth and high humidity. Full sun up to 40% shade. |
Germination for: HELICONIA latispatha
Plant at a depth of 3/4" using well draining soil mixture. Keep warm, damp, and in bright light with high humidity. Fertilize weekly. Can be slow germinating and sporadic.
