| Shrubby tree to 15' with large leathery cordate leaves to 8" length which are green above and whitish beneath- yellow flowers cluster near the ends of the branches appearing as cup-like bracts which turn orange to red by night. Inner bark used for rope/tapa cloth. Tropical. |
Germination for: HIBISCUS tiliaceus "Mahoe"
Plant the seeds immediately at 3/4" depth using well draining soil mixture. Requires bright light and constant warmth. Keep lightly moist and fertilize lightly every two weeks.
