| St. John's wort for centuries has been used by some as a sedative, and for sleep disorders and nerve pain. A tea is also made from the flower tops. It is a popular semi-evergreen, and semi-woody perennial ground cover with golden yellow flowers 2-3" across. It can grow to 12" heighr It develops a mat growth habit and is hardy to 10F. Likes coolness - Ok for zones #5-9. Seeds are very small and should be broadcast onto the soil. |

Broadcast the small seeds onto a mixture of loam and sand. Likes coolness, bright light and soil should be lightly damp. Will germinate at 55F in 20 to 90 days. Will grow in zones 5-9.
