This unique "Bottle plant" is easily grown indoors with warmth and bright light. It seldom exceeds 4' and may be kept pruned to desirable height. It's branches are short and stiff with 1" peltate leaves. Produces small bright red flowers. |
Germination for: JATROPHA podagrica "Australian Bottle plant"
Plant at 3/4" depth in a combination of soil mixture and 205 coarse sand.
Provide bright light, keep warm and lightly moist. Fertilize monthly.
