| AT THIS TIME ONLE PACKETS ARE AVAILABLE - MINIMUM 1 PKT PER ORDER. This shrubby tropical plant produces a red, tart tasting fruit which is very high in vitamin C. It has both red and white flowers that resemble miniature orchids. Must be grown in direct sunlight with high humidity and constant warmth, or in tropical greenhouse. |
Germination for: MALPIGHIA glabra "Acerola", "Barbados Cherry"
Plant as soon as received at 3/4" depth using well draining soil mixture with an additional 20% coarse sand added to it. Keep damp but not wet. Must be kept warm. Requires high humidity and very bright light.
