| Native to Brazil. This shrubby Guava may reach 25' but can be pruned to desirable size. Its sweet fruits are the size of a large grape with reddish color and white pulp. Requires zone 10 warmth, or tropical greenhouse. |
Germination for: PSIDIUM cattleianum "Strawberry guava"
Very lightly cover the seeds with a mixture of coarse sand and soil mixture. Some growers do not cover the small seeds but prefer to broadcast them on top of the soil mix. Keep warm, very lightly moist, in filtered sunlight with high humidity.
