Can be grown outdoors in the eastern half of the U.S. in well drained slopes that face north or east in humus rich soil that is porous. The most desirable roots are those that are old, odd shaped and forked, stubby with tapering. 9 - 10 years of growing is the normal time before harvesting roots. Seeds may appear in 4 years. Leaves look a little like strawberry - later they look like schefflera. We offer seeds that are stratified and ready to plant. If you are purchasing both types of ginseng be sure that you do not mix the seeds or plant them too close together. |
The next type in the Seeds (P-R) Category is: PANAX sp "KOREAN GINSENG"
