| A single trunk pinnate leaved palm to 20'. Trunk lightly ringed, tapering to crownshaft. The 6'leaves are arched and have broad leaflets to 3'. Attractive red fruits. A stately palm that has become very popular as landscapers are now using it more in the interiorscape. Beong used as specimen trees in many of the newer malls. The seeds are the size of a jellybean and covered with a straw-like husk. |
Germination for: VEITCHIA merrilli "Manila", "Adonidia palm"
Plant as soon as received at a depth of 1 1/2" using well draining soil mixture. Be sure to remove outter husk. Keep warm, damp and in bright light.
